Homemade Baby Puffs

Ingredients
-3/4 cup rice cereal
-1/4 tea baking powder
-2 Tbs water
-2 1/2 Tbs baby food of your choice (I used  peach)
-1/4 cup applesauce or banana

Preheat oven to 350°, and like 2 baking sheets with wax parchment paper.

Combine dry ingredients and wet ingredients in a medium bowl. Mixture should be a thick pastey consistency. Pour mixture into a piping bag or sandwich sized ziplock bag.

Pipe mixture onto prepared baking sheets in pea or dime sized dots.

Bake for 10 minutes, rotate sheets, then continue for an additional 10 minutes or until puffs are crispy.

Remove from oven and let cool completely.

Enjoy!

    1. Someone else had a similar recipe and said they are good for 5-7 days in an air tight container. Hope that helps!

  2. I made 2 different batches and each time they didn't get crispy in the oven. They were actually chewy. My dogs love them! Lol any suggestions?

    1. Just made these using a different recipe and same thing, they were dough like. The taste was decent but they were not crispy. Also mine stuck to the wax paper. Baby likes them fine but im going to try again. Something went wrong

    2. To those saying the puffs didn't get crispy, try baking them at 250 for longer. It should help dry them out more.

  3. I just got the ok, from the doctor, at my daughters 6 month appointment to start teething puffs. Since she will just be starting out, could I just freeze half the batch? can I substitute the rice cereal for oatmeal?
